Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter Swatches Review (Sorbet shade)

Hiya lovelies,

Revlon colorburst lip butters are horrifyingly popular.  All that Lip Butter + Lip Gloss + Lip Stick in one culture really picked up fast and got to all your little tote’s sooner than other lip shades.  I bought the Sorbet Shade online and here is the review for all of you.

Sorbet is a filthy rich, gorgeous colour (not OTT thought).  Lip butter is a moisturising lotion for the Lip 🙂 .I find this one a regular fit for day use and evening parties. Whenever I wear this shade for a Dinner Party I always notice that there is a little color still left on my lips even after Desert!  Yes, so no need of reapplication and touch ups needed – God Bless Revlon 😛

TMB’s Take on Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Sorbet:

This cutie comes in a colored cap [so awesome, if you have more than one in your hand, it becomes piece of cake identifying which is which] packaging with a silver barrel. The problem with this type of packaging is that there will be no room for you to hold onto the product sturdily while applying, may result in uneven application and difficulty in opening an older and abused product 🙂

It glides on the lips like butter and. Basically, it has sheer to medium opacity and high gloss finish giving a juicy look to the lips, but it isn’t sticky like a gloss.

The product is soft and glides like butter on the lips thereby hydrating them. This shade is more pigmented than few of the other shades. Unlike other Revlon Lip Butter Swatches one swipe should be a good enough colour and more swipes would yield intense fuchsia pink shade and a lovely glossy finish.

The following Revlon Lip Butter Swatches will show you as to how pigmented this shade can be in two swipes.

This type of pigmentation is between a tinted lip balm and a lipstick in the same color. The color what I feel is most optimal so as to not look as bright as a lipstick or as dull as a Nivea Lip Balm. I love the texture it renders to my lips, so much so luscious& healthy that I always look for buying my lip products. It is immensely hydrating, you will feel that on your lips from the first application itself. When the pigmentation was wiped off, my lips felt fluffy. The left over dry bits of dead skin on the lips had softened and while washing my face, peeled off easily.

For all the sniffer ladies out there, it gives me immense pleasure to tell you that this lip butter has a mild vanilla fragrance which is quite pleasant which comes only on sniffing purposely, no hint of it whatsoever on and after application.

Overall Verdict

Revlon Lip Butter Swatches for Sorbet shade show that this is a Modern medium bright pink that gives a glossy pink color to the lips. It stays on fairly well [ About 4-5 hrs after 2-3 swipes on first application ] for a lip butter and makes a very exciting pink for Indian skin.Good hydration, The shade had buildable color coverage that ranged between semi-sheer to semi-opaque. They’re not designed to be used for full coverage anyways, so the natural lip color will be visible slightly. If you’re looking for a simple lip balm, don’t buy this but if you’re longing for a lesser head ached lip product that does all full-fledged lip care functions then you’ve come to the right product review this one surely does a whole lot of everything under the sun, you’ll be happy that you purchased this one.  I’m definitely going for a repurchase, different shade though!
