My Experience with Nivea Lip Butter Caramel Cream:
The lip butter comes housed in a cute little cream colored flat tin, I absolutely adore it. The lid sits tightly and does not come off that easily, the packaging is very sturdy I dropped mine twice by mistake and it is still in good shape 😀 Although the tin is quite compact you get 16 grams of product to last for a very long time. As soon as you open the lid there is a sweet and warm caramel fragrance which smells absolutely yum and will be a delight for caramel lovers!
The butter is creamy white colored and goes on almost clear, it feels slightly hard initially, but it’s very easy to scoop out some product, it instantly starts to melt when it comes in contact with fingers and feel butter soft and creamy. The texture feels very light on spreading and it kind of melts into the lips. It does not feel greasy or sticky in any way. It instantly softens my dry lips and keeps them well moisturized and nourished giving a nice healthy sheen.
The moisturizing effect last for around 3-4 hours before I need any reapplication, but even after it has vanished lips do not feel dry. The tin packaging is certainly unhygienic and hence I prefer using it only at night and due to the smooth texture I can apply a thick layer of it and lips feel very soft the next morning. However it does not really cure dry chapped lips, but then I am yet to find a lip balm that does that so I am fine with it. Also it leaves a light white film when layered heavily which is the only downside for me.
