L’oreal Paris True Match BB Cream – G2 Gold Review
On search of that perfect BB cream I have tried quite a few of them moreover they work as a great base for everyday wear without feeling heavy on skin or giving a cakey appearance. The review today shall be on L’Oreal Paris True Match BB Cream
Price- Rs 595
L’Oreal Says – A light and airy BB Cream from L’Oreal Paris that covers imperfections and gives you lustrous, luminous skin. What’s more, it’s powered with SPF 35 PA+++ for complete protection from UV rays and collagen for total hydration. Go ahead and find your one true match!
The cream has a smooth and milky texture that blends easily and looks closest to your natural skin tone. This True Match BB Cream has just a little bit of tint to cover minor spots and redness for a satiny and lit-from-within natural glow.
My Experience with L’Oreal Paris True Match Skin idealizing BB Cream
The packaging is great, it comes in an attractive looking beige tube with a golden cap, that comes packed in a reflective golden box. The BB cream is available in three shades and I have it in G2 Gold which I think is the darkest one. The shade selection is very limited and will work for fair to medium skin tones only, there are no options available for dusky skin tones.
The texture is slightly on the thicker side yet extremely easy to blend, it feels very smooth on blending. Little goes a very long way with this BB cream, it is not a good idea to go overboard with this one! It is moisturizing without being greasy, for summers I can wear it alone but during winters I feel it works best on well moisturized skin or else it can emphasize any dryness. I like that it does not feel oily after few hours of wear and holds up well, but I do set it with some powder. It has enough hydration for normal to slightly oily skin.
It has light to medium coverage and hides minor imperfections. One thing that really sets this bb cream apart from other options I have tried before is the finish, it has the most amazing natural looking finish. It adds a nice glow to the skin without any oiliness and excess shine, almost like my skin but better look. It feels very light on skin and makes the complexion look even and brighter.
It has SPF of 35 which is great for daytime, and I can easily skip my sunscreen with it. But the real problem is the white cast that comes along. Even though this shade seemed like a good match for my skin tone it gives an obvious white cast on application hence it is best to use as little as possible. Thankfully it settles down within 20 minutes, it stays for 6-7 hours on my combination oily skin.

- High SPF protects against tanning.
- Extremely lightweight.
- Decent staying power.
- Gives amazing glow to skin without feeling greasy or oily.
- Great packaging.
- Emphasize any dryness or patches.
- Has a strong initial white cast.
- Very limited shade selection.
- Slightly pricey.
Overall Rating: 4/5
I love the finish it gives to my skin along with good sun protection. If you have a bit of patience to let the white cast settle down and find a suitable shade then this is a great BB cream to try especially for normal to slightly oily skin.
