How was your weekend? Well, mine was super lazy. Yesterday night we watched “The Fault in Our Stars”. The movie is amazingly romantic. And today the husband has planned for some movie outing again. I am a big big movie buff. But the husband is not and he has to bear with me all the times while I watch movies in theater, he tries to take his sleep 😕 . Every time I have to poke him to watch the movie. So I totally believe in the concept of Sleeping handsome/Beauty. But how many of you believe in this concept?
So if there is one product I can claim that turn me into a Sleeping Beauty, because it wakes me up more beautiful than usual, it’s Estee Lauder Advanced Time Zone Night Cream.
I love Estee Lauder products. Well my pocket doesn’t. 😛 but my skin surely loves it. And since I will be hitting thirties soon, the husband insisted me to get some good product. Even though I don’t have any ageing signs but I want to be pretty sure that I won’t get any wrinkles or for that matter of fact any dark spots. I just want my skin to be hydrated enough throughout the day. And so I bought Estee Lauder. I am using this cream for almost 2 months now. Which is why I am ready to review this product.
Believe me this is one miracle product which will actually turn you into Sleeping Beauty and your skin will thank you for sure. 😎

My take on the Product
Estee Lauder generally does moisturize your skin better than its competitors. If any of anti wrinkle creams produced the results they promise, the company wouldn’t have to keep creating new anti wrinkle products, right? But that’s not the reality. Because hope springs eternal, most women keep coming back to the cosmetics counters for the next anti wrinkle/ anti ageing miracle. I realize this sounds dismal, but the truth is that a well-formulated moisturizer (e.g., lotion, cream, serum, gel) can be a brilliant way to help skin look and act younger. No, your wrinkles won’t be gone and you won’t look a decade younger in one week, but with the right routine (sunscreen, exfoliant, and other products targeted for your skin-care concerns, such as acne, oily skin, dry skin), you will see an improvement.
Estee Lauder Time Zone Night has an elegant creamy texture and formula that’s loaded with antioxidants, cell-communicating ingredients, and skin-identical substances. The cream is a light, luxurious oil-free, which has a quite strong floral scent, very similar to most other Estee Lauder moisturizers. I quite like the scent, so it doesn’t bother me at all, and once the cream has absorbed into the skin, the scent does fade rather quickly. The cream doesn’t give oilyness to the skin.
The cream is oil-free is also non-acnegenic and has been dermatologist-tested, and I comes in a pale lilac jar with a gold lid. The jar packaging is very unhygienic. Every time you have to take it out with your fingers which I find unhygienic because it is more prone to bacteria. Whatever packaging blah blah but after using it for 2 months my skin is thoroughly moisturized, and looks fresh and glowing, and yet in spite of the hot and humid weather, my skin seems to be less greasy, and pores seems to be smaller. As for reducing the fine lines and wrinkles, I have to admit that it has not ‘reversed age’, although small lines definitely do appear to have diminished to much extent.
Estee does what it claims. At least this product does. My skin is perfectly hydrated throughout the day without making me feel suffocated. This product not only delivers a welcome shot of hyaluronic (helps the skin to hang onto its water) and a big dose of antioxidants (helps to repair and protect against harsh sun), it also helps to minimize the pores to much extent.
- Hydrates the skin
- Gives radiance to my skin
- Minimize the pores to some extent
- Doesn’t give oily feeling
- Loaded with antioxidants
- Rick overnight cream
- Tones the skin
- Dermatologically Tested
- Suits all skin type
- Bulky jar packaging
- Scented strongly (Con for people with sensitive sense of smell)
- Doesn’t reverse ageing lines/wrinkles
TMB Ratings – 4.5/5
Recommendation – I would recommend this product if you are willing to splurge. This is a good night cream which does what it claims apart from age reversing factor.
