As you know that I had got invited to attend the Za Beauty School with the beauty expert Megumi Mistsui. She is a prolific beauty expert from the house of Shiseido. Lots of my readers have requested to share my experience about attending the school. So here I am sharing my experience with all you lovely ladies.
The House of Shiseido presents Za Beauty School – an exclusive experience with Za’s high skin expertise of Za and Japanese “Omotenashi” [Hospitality].
The event was scheduled in Vivanta by Taj in Cuff Parade, Mumbai. We reached almost half an hour late (Ahhhhh, you know the Bombay traffic. It sucks big time) but thanks to people who were on Indian Standard Time, the event did not start by the time we reached. So we didn’t miss anything. Phew 😆 !! The event started at 12.30 pm with a nice speech from one of the Brand Representatives of the house of Shiseido. He gave a nice introduction of who Megumi is! Well, I must say she is adorable.. She is having almost 18 years of experience with the house of Shiseido 🙂 Continue reading “The Za Beauty School Insights”
This is the First Post by The Husband – Enjoy Reading!
It’s been a very long time since I have written anything. Today I decided to write this post (on TMB because of all you lovely ladies reading Biwi’s Posts with Love and Vigor), because of the sheer Pity that I have on the “MINDSET” of People around the globe.
There are somethings like – during “The Female Cycle” – “The Girl should not touch the Pickle”, Should not Enter The Temple or the Kitchen and so on… I don’t think that those who started these “MYTHS” actually thought at the the start that people of the so called “Tech Age or the 21st Century would follow these SO blindly… I want to ask them also “Does the GOD who created WOMEN and MADE them SUCH would want them to stay out of his own Temple just because she is menstruating” The answer is NO! Everything has a REASON and it’s the Logic of Human Beings that has put them on the top of the Evolution Chain, which everybody is misusing or not using at all…. Thus attributing our intelligence to modern science and evolution we need to “Keep Questioning Everything” that hits us in the FACE and not just take the hit.
That is the precise reason why I have decided to bust every possible myth that I get my hands on starting with the Pickle Stories (Read Menstruating Stories)! I so hate this stuff because it is being followed today also, and many of our relatives, colleagues, friends, sisters, cousins and Wives (Read WIFE 😈 ) are facing this issue with a MUM Mouth!
Sorry to be away for 2-3 days. I have a bad migraine problem, so couldn’t review anything as sitting on laptop aggravates it. But I am back with a review about one of the most talked about brand now a days, “Za“. It is pronounced as zee-ae. As everyone knows that House of Shiseido had launched their affordable skin care range in India with “Za“. So I am reviewing one of the product, Za True White Day Cream.
Since 2-3 days I am like ZZZaaaaaaaaa, Zzzaaaa!!!! As you can see me singing 😛 (while the husband is getting annoyed) because I think Za sounds so musical. Piiizzzzaaaaa, Pazzzzztaaaaaa, Zzzaaaaa 😆 . Sorry for that lame joke but I am just so excited to attend the Za Beauty School that I can’t stop raving about it. So here I am with one of my HG face wash that I found under the House of Shiseido. (Those who are new to blogging HG=Holy grail) Za True White Cleansing Foam.
House of Shiseido has recently launched affordable skin care range under the brand name Za in India. I was pretty excited to try this range as Za comes under House of Shisedo. So lets see how it scored!
First, Thank you all my lovely ladies for giving an exquisite response to all my posts till date, I love you all! 😛 Coming to the Point, I am very very excited to share this awesome news with all you lovely ladies. I am pretty sure that many of you must be knowing about “Shiseido – One of the oldest Skin Care Brands in Japan (130 Yrs to be precise)” and recently they have launched their new skin care range in India under the brand name of “Za“.
Recently their Facebook & Twitter page went viral with an announcement regarding the contest in which very few lucky people will be selected for attending the Za Beauty School with Megumi Mitsui, Their Renowned Beauty Expert from Shiseido, Japan. In this School you will get an exclusive skin consultation and learn the insider tips for getting that Perfect Skin in the Japanese way. At Za Everybody believes that beautiful skin starts with the understanding of your own skin and by adopting the right skincare regime. Now with Za Beauty School, The Metro (Beauty)Women will get a chance to master skincare, the Japanese way!
Everybody loves deep cleansed face. But achieving it is obviously a pain unless you are gifted with a skin like Victoria’s Secret Model ( those people are so skinny & so fresh faced, Girl you got to see those, I envy them). We paint our face with different packs, then sit in the same position like a statue till the pack hardens. Ugh!!! We can’t even talk for that time 🙄 . Then there is washing off that pack which actually takes ages, weird smell & messy towels if you don’t get the particles off your face. Why God! Why? Every time I apply any pack on my face I shout like this 👿 . Ugh!! This is the messy part with any of the other face packs, which all of you must be aware of. But the best part is they actually give you a deep cleansed & fresh look. Well, not all of them but the best is! So here I am talking about the best – Forest Essentials Multani Mitti Ubtan.
Well many of you know that Multani Mitti aka Fuller’s Earth has some astonishing properties. I have read it somewhere that Fuller’s Earth makes an excellent cleansing component which offers highly absorbent qualities. It is abundant in minerals. When applied on the skin it hardens slowly as it dries, and thus aids in absorbing the lifeless cells present on the skin surface making it oil free and moisturized. The nutrient in the fuller’s earth hydrates the skin thus leaving it smooth and glowing.
Today I am reviewing the product from one of the most trusted brand in the makeup industry, Mac & the product is Mac Select Sheer Loose Powder. It has been sitting in my sweet little pinky pouch feeling neglected & throwing tantrums for not giving it a personal attention 😥 . I mean how exciting writing about a powder be. But sorry baby. This post is for you.
Mac Select Sheer Loose Powder was one of the powder that actually needed the attention. So I am here to review about this sweet little baby which actually turns you into sweet angel, of course if applied properly 😉 .
Many of us know that loose powders are meant for oily skin & pressed powders for dry skin. Loose powders are definitely finer than pressed powders and hence gets settle into fine lines which accentuate the dry patches of skin. Therefore dry skinned people are supposed to use pressed powders.
But in my case I always felt that loose powders work wonders for my combination skin. With weather is changing so frequently, specially in Bombay no one can guess when it will rain & when it will be sunny, my skin is changing accordingly. Frankly I just hate the greasy feeling in summers & drier skin in winters… And the cherry on the cake is I sweat a lot, a lot mean a lottt. Yucky 🙄 !! So now you can understand, the sebum, the sweat are affecting my skin to the core. So I was looking for something which will absorb the oil and keep my face fresh & glowing. And I got it with Mac Select Sheer Loose Powder.
As far as I know everybody on this planet, till now, would have known what BB, CC and tinted moisturizers are (apart from some aliens who altogether live on other Planet 😛 ) ! The Beauty World has been inundated with BB creams, CC creams & tinted moisturizers. Just FYI BB stands for Blemish Balm which helps you cover the blemishes, CC cream is color correcting cream which helps in tone of the skin. Can you imagine in some of the Western Countries DD creams too have entered the market! There are so many products available to suit all budgets & almost all skin problems offering different levels of coverage & variety of finishes. I am just starting to think how shall we narrow down the options as so many variants and different alternatives are available in the market.
I was a bit confused about doing this post as I do not wish to invite perverts here but at the end of the day this is a girl’s zone and I do want to talk about Intimate care as well. So, Mr. Perv if you are here for some sleaze show I must say you shall be left disappointed. SHOO 😈 ! Go get a life! Now that I have scared all of those idiots away( 😛 ) lets move on to some review.
Sorry to be away from blogging about cosmetics reviews for almost a week. My week was horribly hectic as my brother-in-law was coming here for the very first time. So getting everything prepared to chalk out the plan for our weekend, I’d done it all 😀
Much to the husband’s annoyance we went to Lalbaughcha Raja on Saturday for the Mukh Darshan. It was so heavily crowded that it took almost 4 hours for us to see the Ganpati. One year we’d gone for Charan Sparsh (those who have never visited Lalbaugh at the time of Ganapati festival, there are two separate queues, one for Charan Sparsh wherein you can touch the feet of the deity and one for Mukh Darshan you can see the God from the distance! Duh!). It took us 36 hours for Charan Sparsh in some year that we had decided never to visit the Lalbaugh henceforth. Continue reading “The Fun Weekend Sans Cosmetics Reviews”
